• Please check does your DVR device supports the "Time-Lapse Video Recording" Function,
–If the DVR device does not support the Time-Lapse Video Recording Function, Our D3A-S just supports the Auto power on function and 24 hours 5V output function.
–If the DVR device supports the Time-Lapse Video Recording Function, D3A-S will work properly with the DVR device when switching to the D3A-S I or II position.
• I/II mode need your car DVR device supports the "Time-Lapse Video Recording" Function, if not support, I/II mode will be the same with P mode.
• Can not support the brand "70mai" "xiaomi" "mijia" dash cam.

How to judge the Car DVR support time-lapse ?
The 4th Pin of the Car DVR should be the ACC detection pin.( As the picture)

Can only support cars manufactured from 2007, because the old cars are not standard OBD2 protocol.

For Russian local car brands like LADA, UAZ, GAZ, etc, Support only from 2012.

FAQ

My DVR does not support the time-lapse recording function, how to use the D3A-S product?
1) If your DVR does not have the time-lapse recording function, but you want the DVR to record 24 hours a day, no matter which mode you choose, the hardwire kit will provide 24 hours 5V DC output.
2) If your DVR does not have the time-lapse recording function and you do not want the DVR to record 24 hours a day, please unplug the OBD plug after the car is turned off.
My DVR supports the time-lapse recording function, how to use the D3A-S product?
1) If your DVR has a time-lapse recording function and you want 24 hours parking monitoring, it is recommended that you use the "I" or "II" mode and turn on the DVR time-lapse recording function. When the ACC/Engine is turned off, The DVR will enter time-lapse recording mode within 1-5 min.
2) If your DVR has a time-lapse recording function, but you do not want the DVR to record 24 hours a day, it is recommended that you use the "I" or "II" mode, turn off the time-lapse recording function of the DVR, the DVR will power off automatically when the ACC/Engine is from ON to OFF ( park the car), no need Unplug the OBD plug.

Tips

For D3A-S
1. Before installation, please make sure that the car is in the state of Engine OFF and ACC OFF, not recommended to install it with power on.
